Partnering Together to Fulfill the Great Commission

 Strengthening Churches

“ And he went through Syria and Cilicia, strengthening the churches.” Acts 15:41

Your Cape Fear Network provides opportunities to equip your members and train church leaders for ministry at a larger and deeper level than most churches can do on their own. Our desire is to assist local churches to become healthy disciple making churches that reach the lost.

Leadership Development

One way we strengthen churches is to provide training for church pastors and leaders that we call Leadership Development. Biblical leadership is essential to the well-being of every healthy church, and God calls different people to lead in different ways.

Healthy churches require faithful, well-trained pastors/elders/overseers and deacons, and we must have healthy churches led by such pastors to fulfill the Great Commissions.

Question- How are you training and developing leaders? Do you have a plan?

EQUIP

One way the Cape Fear Network of Baptist Churches adds value to your church is by providing a strategic plan and a local place for developing present and future church leaders and missionaries from your local church.

It is the Cape Fear EQUIP Network. We have entered partnership with Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary to:

1.   Provide accredited theological education towards either a graduate or an undergraduate degree.

2.   Provide the required courses for someone desiring a Christian Ministry Certificate.

3.   Provide theological training for non-degree seeking church leaders in the context of local church application.

Over the next 3 years we plan to offer 12 courses providing up to 36 credit hours. The Spring Semester 2025, begins Monday night January 20 for 12 weeks. That course is Personal Discipleship and Disciple Making.

Colegio Fruitland Biblio

For our Hispanic churches, in partnership with Fruitland Baptist Bible College, to provide theological training for degree and for non-degree seeking church leaders in the context of local church application, we offer courses at our Network building on Friday nights. We also offers scholarships from our Cape Fear budget for those requesting financial assistance.

The 3rd way we can add value to the local church is through Strategic Partnerships.
